Modern fruit farm in South Tyrol

Rarely in South Tyrol a farm is built completely from scratch and even more rarely in this size. Surrounded by orchards, the two-winged structure combines economic and residential areas of a modern fruit farm under a green roof.

Great importance is attached to ecologically sustainable architecture made of natural building materials such as larch wood, concrete and plaster.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL LIGHT

Energetic renovation and extension of residential house in Lana An energy-efficient extension (ZK-BL) The energy-efficient building is heated by the air-source heat pump. This also provides the necessary cooling in summer. The generous window areas not only provide plenty of natural light, but also solar heat gains in the winter.

In summer, the installed vertical awnings serve for the necessary thermal protection.
