“Building with straw in South Tyrol – Dietrichhof a bsunders Platzl”.
For “farm vacations” four vacation apartments in straw construction were realized at the Dietrichhof in Feldthurns, with a net area of about 30 m2 each. The old barn had a wooden structure with a roof worth preserving.
Therefore, the idea arose to place the vacation apartments as round pavilions – only plastered – freestanding in the existing barn shell, which protects against wind and weather.
