Demolition and reconstruction hotel “Am Sonnenhang
In the center of Dorf Tirol the former hotel “Tirolerhof” was demolished and rebuilt and now forms together with the adjacent residence “Am Sonnenhang” the new hotel residence complex “Am Sonnenhang”.
The hotel was certified as a climate house “A”. It is terraced and has large window fronts on the south side. The terraces are arranged in such a way that in summer, when the sun is high, the terraces above guarantee shading and protect against overheating. In winter, on the other hand, the low-lying sun can warm the rooms unhindered and solar gains can be used.
